Effective but pricey!
4I was very excited to receive this to try. As soon as it came, I rushed to try it. I have very thick hair, it's long, but not overly long. The texture of the mask is very thick but manageable. The smell is delightful - but that's not why you use it. If I'm honest, the overall product is fabulous. It does reduce braciness and make your hair feel silky smooth. The only downside is the cost to buy. It's very expensive if you have thick long hair like me, you use almost half the tub in one go just to put a coat over your hair. It would be good if it was perhaps a bit thicker for that reason, or if there was different size tubs at different costs depending on your needs
Amazing
5I have used this Baby Blonde shade variation mask weekly along with the Brightening Shampoo with Camomile And Cornflower. It's been amazing it's stopped me running to the shop to buy a box dye to brighten my hair. I suffer with yellow under tones which I hate so this has been a life saver with no hairdressers open, to tone and brighten my hair.

4Great treatment, hair feels so soft and back to bring blonde instead of yellow. Definitely a long treatment, use as directed as no difference is colour if used as a 5 minute treatment
Great short term colour
3The packaging and smell of the product is lovely but there is a bit of messing about to get the desired results. I'm a natural blonde but after following the instructions and leaving on damp hair for 30 minutes I saw little result. When I left it on for 45 minutes it gave a great overall look to my hair but it quickly fades and washes out. A great product for short term results but I personally find the toning shampoos have much better results and are easier to sue
Worth the work!
4I've got to admit, I really wasn't sure what to expect from this. It reads as a "Shade variation mask". A quick Google tells me this is a £40 product but I #GotItFree from @BzzAgent. Instantly I started paying attention. First impressions of the packaging were good. The tub is a pretty decent size, the label looks expensive and even just reading what the product intends to do tells you this isn't just another standard purple toned conditioner. Unscrew the lid, pull back the seal and inside is a mesmerising pearlescent purple liquid. It has quite a thick consistency and is filled right up. The product is designed to be applied to freshly washed hair, ideally after @ChristopheRobin #BrighteningShampoo. From there, it's left in for a nothing from 5-30 mins, depending on how dramatic a shade change you want. The main concept of this is to return your blonde to its originally intended beauty. A major positive for me was how little of this product was needed. A finger tip scoop was enough for my mid length hair and my locks were smooth and sleek within seconds. Obviously the drawback to a product like this is the fact you've just washed your hair and you then have to sit anything up to half an hour before having to wash it again, thus culminating in a pretty decent chunk of time all dedicated to clean hair without any additional benefits like roots disappearing or greys bring covered. However, any anguish felt towards this frustrating 30 mins is soon washed away and, just like the product promises, your hair is back to gorgeous, silky #BabyBlonde in no time. All hints of brassiness are gone and the great thing is that the fix lasts up to 3 washes. For someone like me, that's a godsend! I can go 4 days without washing my hair so one treatment if this little tub of miracles lasts me around a fortnight. Suddenly that 30 min trade for 2 weeks of gorgeous hair is feeling a whole lot more worthwhile! As my time went on with this product, I experimented quite a bit with different time frames, all with varying results. I found the product results really quite easy to control and I love having so much flexibility over a product. A quick 5 mins was still enough to make my #BabyBlonde look clean, whereas a little longer and my #ShadeVariation was considerable. Not a single bit of yellow in sight. So like most things in life, there are a couple of minor grumbles, and I mean, minor. I'm a nail tech and wear acrylic extensions. They're not crazy long but long enough that scooping any kind of liquid out a tub with them on can be a pain, in that it gathers under the nails. If this could be repackaged into a tub with a pump or a pouring tube, that would be ideal. As afore mentioned, sitting about for 30 mins waiting to rewash my hair wasnt ideal but I honestly think it was worth it. Plus the option is there to reduce the time, if you don't want or need as shocking a contrast. And yes, £40 is a hefty price tag but this is a product that could easily last a year in my bathroom, with regular use so in that respect, it's well justified too. Personally, I don't know if I can be without this product now. During lockdown, I had the unfortunate luck of having to colour my own hair. Long story short, I didn't leave the leave on long enough and it came out quite yellow. Would you believe @ChristopheRobin #ShadeVariation actually managed to mask this for me? That's probably the biggest compliment I can give it. All in all, I can safely recommend this product to any blonde. It's fantastic value for money, does what it says on the tub and gives great flexibility of #ShadeVariation for even total novices like me.
Must have for bleached folk!
5I have my roots done (bleached and toned) every 4 months by a professional, and I tone my own hair twice inbetween each go. I don't mind doing it, but it's a bit of a faff. I am genuinely ASTONISHED at how well this masque conditioner works, gave a gorgeous violet hue and smashed away the yellow brassy tones; all while leaving it soft and moisturised. I will 100% but this product again, the drying Silver Polish from the supermarket is no more!!!
Reduces Brassiness but needed the full 30 minutes!
3Smells lovely and not too strong, just a really fresh, clean fragrance.I used this for the maximum time of 30 minutes, which i feel is a long time, when there are brands on the market doing it in less than 10 minutes. 30 minutes meant I had to get out of the shower and then wash it out which is a bit faffy! It did definitely reduce the brassiness without drying like other blonde conditioners do! I would definitely buy it again, subject to price, but would you only do as a treat, when I had a lot of time to spoil myself!

5I am literally so amazed by this product and how beautiful and healthy my hair looks. The brassy, yellow tones have gone completely and my hair is constantly being complimented since using - unlike other products it doesn't dry out my hair and is so easy to use. I'd already looked at purchasing more of this after the first wash. Impressed is an understatement!

Shade variation mask
5This is an excellent product - it improves hair condition immensely. The only downside (for me) is that I purchased the wrong colour. I wish I had chosen the warmer blond as this baby blond doesn’t suit my colouring. My mistake, now I wonder if I can afford another........
